Memorials
Two beloved family pets have their names, dates and a celtic knot each on a piece of slate provided by the owners which split beautifully in two, creating matching plaques from the same slate for both dogs.
A hand painted original memorial for a garden or to mark a place where ashes have been scattered. Sometimes a traditional gravestone can be too gloomy for the memories one can have of a well loved companion.
I work from photographs provided by the owner or simply have words, knots, dates and a flower, there are no rules to what may be painted upon a memorial, memories are all that matter at the end of the day.

These outdoor pieces are given numerous coats of exterior lacquer to protect the surfaces and are easily cleaned with soft cloth and soap.
